Native Tongue is an Open-Mic/ Poetry Slam created to maintain the indigenous culture of DC. As Ward 8 continues to change, We the people will continue to control our own narrative through the arts. Words, Songs, Stories and Music are some of our most powerful tools in pushing our culture forward.

Each Open Mic includes a featured poet and a first-come / first-serve sign up.
